Vid came to Canada in 2014 for a post graduate degree in management from Queens University. With a 14 year old career in tech sales, a graduate degree in engineering and an MBA from Queens, a potential fast paced life in marketing and sales in Toronto beckoned. Kingston is where the heart settled and the family of 5 (wife, kid and 2 retrievers) never entertained another career/life choice.
Fun Fact: Vid takes a picture of his dog sleeping on him, EVERYDAY!
Vid considers himself a simple rural minded person and has consciously moved from populated cities and a fast paced life of consumption to a slower, more deliberate, more sustainable way of life that is better for the community, environment and overall mental and physical well-being.
A serial entrepreneur, Vid has 6 startups to credit, 3 in India and 3 in Canada, including 2 Non profit organisations.
Vid’s interests are in agribusines, agro tourism, food retail, sustainability, entrepreneurship, immigration and immigrant workforce and community mentorship.
